20th February
Local History Section, Annual Lecture: Jean Morrin lectured on 'The Victoria County History Project, past and present, with special reference to Hampshire.'
10th March
Archaeology Section, Evening lecture, Mike Fulford gave a talk on 'Epilogue to Silchester'
28th March
Local History Section, Spring Symposium: 'Wish you were here! From holy days to holidays'
29th April
Archaeology Section, Evening lecture by Chris Stringer (Natural History Museum) on: ‘Origins of Early Man’
12th May
Historic Buildings Section, guided tour of Longford Castle near Salisbury.
13th May
HFC&AS Annual General Meeting, which was followed by the President's Lecture: 'An Historian looks at the History of the Field Club' by Dick Selwood.
24th May
Archaeology Section, visit to Old Basing Earthworks, led by Alan Turton.
7th June
Historic Buildings Section, 'Barns Day', Old Basing.
27th June
Local History Section, Summer Outing to Milford on Sea.
11th July
Landscape Section, visit to Odiham: 'Common Fields, Castle and Canal', led by Derek Spruce.

Archaeology Section, evening visit to the University of Winchester excavations at Magdalen Hill, Winchester.
